Atrium Cinema is one of the renowned cinemas in
Karachi, which is located in the heart of this city. It is immensely popular
amongst all kinds of people due to the movies it displays and the quality
entertainment package it offers. Atrium Cinema has its official website, which
is constantly visited by people with regard to checking out show timings.
The
website contains all the necessary contact details of cinema management that
enable you to book your show online or talk to the customer representative.
There are other exciting features in Atrium Cinema’s website, such as, current
movie shows, movies that are coming soon, official trailers of movies, synopsis
of movies and other information regarding the movies displayed or yet to be displayed.
Recently, this popular website of Atrium Cinema was hacked for the second time
in eight days by some internet geeks.
This hacking report regarding one of the largest 3D
cinemas of Karachi was confirmed by the IT officials in the city. This website
was reported to be hacked when visitors noticed that the Indian national anthem
“Vande Mataram” appears as soon as the website’s main page is loaded and every
visitor is greeted with an Indian flag instead of what appears on the usual
homepage of the website. Other slogans, such as, “Jai Hind (Hail India)” also
appear with the hackers code-name, “Ashell”. Moreover, the hackers intended
offense to Pakistan as they ostensibly narrated poetry and wrote that “Admin
Hope You Enjoyed The Music Now Close It”.
According to the owner of Atrium Cinema, the cinema
had to confront such challenges due to the unending traffic support by visitors
at Pakistan’s first three dimensional cinemas in Karachi. As rapidly as the
Atrium Cinema project is gaining popularity through its website, they are
making new enemies for creating big hurdles in the path of their success.
Atrium Cinema website receives about 50,000 hits a
day because it is updated regularly with variant staff working on the movie
show times every day. This case with Atrium Cinema is not the first time that
hackers across the border have tried to defame Pakistani websites. There have
been several big and small cases before, where hackers belonging to India have
attempted to mess with Pakistani websites. But the clapping is done both ways.
There are reported cases of Pakistani hackers trying to hack Indian websites as
well, which need to end.
